Our Work
As a UNESCO Chair in Education for Sustainability and Global Citizenship, we are convinced that, thanks to its transversality and interdisciplinary nature, ES and GC play a fundamental role in promoting a hopeful outlook and developing the knowledge and skills necessary to face the challenges of this complex XXI century. Based on this conviction, we intend to strengthen the transformative potential of Education and address practical ways of linking these complex issues with schoolwork.
We offer different training proposals in Education for Sustainability, and we personally accompany educational institutions that seek to contribute to Sustainable Development, training citizens better equipped for current challenges.
We contribute to the Sustainable Development Objectives through strategic alliances and with an interdisciplinary approach.
UNESCO's vision has inspired our work from the beginning, within the PES of the School of Education, and that is why we have decided to grow in the formation of this Chair, which gives us the possibility of enriching our work through shared learning with other Chairs of the UNITWIN Program.

From this platform we carry out lines of work of national, regional scope and we participate in others at a global level to scale our contribution to educational systems.
