GDP Nowcast
How is the Argentine economy growing right now?
The UdeSA Nowcast is a weekly estimate of GDP growth that doesn't require waiting for the official release. Every Friday, a model combines around twenty high-frequency economic indicators —from industrial activity and imports to cement shipments and consumer confidence — and distills them into a single reading of the current quarter.
Unlike market expectation surveys, the nowcast updates with every new piece of data released during the week, allowing it to anticipate sharp turning points before consensus forecasts catch up.
