El camino hacia la sostenibilidad desde un enfoque integral: aprendizajes del caso de la Escuela Escocesa San Andrés

The Path Toward Sustainability from a Whole-School Perspective
How does an educational community transform to become more sustainable?
The purpose of this event is to share the journey of St. Andrew’s Scots School in its process of integrating sustainability into all aspects of the institution, using the approach known as the Whole School Approach, with the support of our UNESCO Chair.
This approach seeks to involve the entire educational community —students, teachers, administrators, and support staff— working in a coordinated and cross-cutting way at all levels, from the classroom to administrative management. Sustainability is not treated merely as a curricular topic, but as a central pillar that runs through every aspect of school life, fostering responsible practices in academic activities, in the school’s daily operations and community life.
The event will feature administrators, teachers, students, and members from different areas of the school, who will share firsthand their achievements, as well as the challenges that still remain on the path toward building a more conscious, responsible, and sustainable educational community.
