Every experienced university student knows that the library is a key place to determine the quality of a university. Our university Biblioteca Max von Buch complies with international standards and applies the most modern technologies, which have enabled to establishing exchange agreements with world prestigious academic libraries. It has also been a pioneer in participating in international team groups with the Association of Research Libraries, and the Library of Congress, both based in Washington, among others.

Our library is constantly focused on preserving classic texts as well as incorporating the most updated ones. The online Collection includes complete text data bases (EBSCO Host, JSTOR, Project Muse, Information Report, etc.); e-journals and abstract and index data bases. The electronic resources can be consulted from remote terminals (at the campus or outside the university).

It’s Special Collection and Files sector has an important role in cultural preservation. The professional staff assists students and teachers in their bibliographic research. The Biblioteca Max von Buch building, especially designed by the architect Rafael Viñoly, provides a stimulating atmosphere for concentrated reading as well as for group work.
