Teachers at San Andrés have a high academic level and an excellent will to share it with others; they hold postgraduate degrees from prestigiously famous universities. They carry out research projects and they are involved in congresses, seminars and conferences. They publish books, working papers, articles in school magazines and in the media. They constantly apply their knowledge to different activities and at different levels: at school and also in the business world, at a government level, in organizations and in the media. They have an ongoing dialogue with colleagues and with other institutions abroad; they are involved with the international community. Some of their academic projects receive international funding on behalf of the IDB, the UNESCO and Ford and Rockefeller foundations, among others. This environment, with a constant emphasis on activity and work, is then passed onto our students through their classes.

Teachers provide students with academic contents as well as with the tools to perform in the world. They are flexible and they provide visiting hours within their own schedules where students can put forward specific topics or questions or monitor the development of an idea of work. They have a personalized interest for students’ development. Everything is made easier because of the fact that most of them are fully dedicated to San Andrés.
